I have a lot of memories of the time I was a little kid, I guess everyone has. From all those memories, I have separated one that is for me the most special... the first time I went to the beach.
I was six years old by the time I first went there and as I was born in the center of the country, in Brasília, the sea wasn't something very common to me. The people in the capital only have a lake called paranoá that is not even close compared to what the sea is. As opposed to the sea, "our" lake is useless, maybe that's the reason why the ocean is so important to me.
I still remember that feeling of that new experience. It was in Praia de Ponta Negra, Natal, north-east of the country. Since then, every summer vacation I would go there and stay at my uncle's house until the start of my regular classes at Brasília. I had very good moments there when I was a kid, in addition I still have. I'll never forget it.

what does this Praia de Ponta Negra look like? I would love to imagine this sensation better if you describe it a bit more.
ReplyDeletewill you continue going there for the rest of your life?
ReplyDeletewell, it's a simple beach. It has a big sea shore, it also has all those men selling things, ice creams etc. On the right side, there is the MORRO DO CARECA which is an touristic site of the city.
ReplyDeleteI guess so... (second question)
